1. Botswana The Okavango Delta

The world's largest inland delta, the Okavango is created by a massive river slamming straight into the Kalahari Desert. The Okavango river floods an area of over 15000km2 create a swamp land that attracts thousands of animals, birds, reptiles and insects.

2. Tanzania - Serengeti

Nicknamed the Endless Plains the Serengeti host the largest migration in the world. About 2 million herbivores such as Blue Wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and buffalos take part in the migration from Tanzania to Masai, a distance of 800 kilometres. This amazing feat of nature attracts adventurers across the world.

There are no proper roads here and travelling must be planned for worst case scenario, overall the journey will be a tough one for even the most experience traveller.

3. Tanzania Kilimanjaro

Africa's highest peak reaching a height of 5882 metres, the White Mountain is the 4th largest mountain in the world. Many do not know that Kilimanjaro is an inactive volcano similar to volcano such as Krakatoa and Vesuvius.

There are 6 climbing routes up Kilimanjaro, each one different in scenery and climbing level. The mountain is not to be under estimated as many climbers are forced to turn back due to major discomfort. Prepare yourself and make bookings in advance to avoid disappointment or failure, unless you're Nelson Mandela that is.

4. Gabon - Loango National Park

A unique and diverse habitat can be found in the 1550 kilometres of colliding forests, savannas, lagoons, savannas and ocean. The largest varieties of sea mammal are situated within 100 kilometres of uninhabited coastline. Here lies wildlife for all adventurers to bask in. Exciting feats of the animals is common; one in particular is the hippo surf.

With a huge amount of wildlife stuffed into a small area this conservation area is a must for all animal and safari lovers.

5. South Africa Kruger National Park

With its abundance of wildlife, including the big five, you can't be disappointed travelling into the 18989km2 of one of the largest games reserves in Africa. The wildlife population is outrageous with many animals numbering in the thousands. Sightings are a definite and perhaps you can strike some luck in witnessing an event as popular as the viral video Battle at Kruger.

The journey is no tough one and can be enjoyed for long periods by even the least experienced adventurers. Accommodation can easily been found in the park and bookings are essential.
