Here it is in London rose at the time of Christmas! Since last week, the major downtown streets (Oxford Street, Regent Street and Carnaby Street, among others) are adorned with lights to make us forget that night is now far too early and get everyone in the mood more festive.
Like every year, the Christmas lights in London were lit by large pumps, each street holding his own "lighting ceremony" to gather crowds. Well, I once again missed the celebrations, but I went anyway to check out the lights last week, and it is always so beautiful!
On Oxford Street we find the same decorations that last year, based stars, gift boxes and small umbrellas.
Regent Street, the sequel The Chronicles of Narnia is in the spotlight.
But my heart will blow undoubtedly Carnaby Street: the illuminations are delightfully offset this year's theme of space and the Father Christmas costume astronauts float in the midst of glittering planets. Magic!
I have time to think...
Dancing lights, beaded candle holder is one of the ideas produced for Christmas Jimie. Not totally my innovative idea since I have already made small photospheres' mosaic but very effective in terms of outcome.
And between innovation, creation, implementation, requires breaths.... cinnamon tea, biscuit ... me it speaks to me.
Having just visited the area of Belfast last December, I found the atmosphere of the town of Montbeliard, dressed in her Christmas lights and decorated wooden chalets.
For Christmas 2010, Christmas lights in Montbliard will be guest of honor LouisianaOffering visitors the opportunity to discover this former French province, its music, cuisine and traditions.
I shall not fail to make a trip to bring you some pictures ... :-) In the meantime, you can take a look at photos of last year on the Site Christmas Lights.
