It's Time to take a Stand

Many times we see or hear things that we think are not right but do nothing about them, either because we may consider our comments out of place or not what the majority believes in.

But then we neglect to let our voices be heard, we also have that right, and with that right comes responsibility.

Voltaire once said "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." Our responsibility comes as soon as our thoughts come out of our mouths or pens, in accepting what others may think of them or the consequences they may bring, not backing down and giving into something you don't really believe in.

That's why now it's your time to take a stand for something you would like to bring forth; and it doesn't necessarily means a big issue of global importance, it can very well be the thought that every meal needs to be followed by an equally delicious dessert, that can very well raise controversy in it's own way. No need to bring your self down.

Speaking up for ourselves must also be addressed with care and not just spit out venomous thoughts. We need to be sincere with ourselves first in order to be firm in what we think is correct and stand up for it, for ourselves.

Now, if you don't know how to start or where to start, the Internet offers you several places where you can voice out your opinions like www.StreetRebuttal.com. This site is where you can help reclaim the voice of the public. By sharing your opinions and thoughts with others in this virtual community, you can increase the activity of our collective intelligence. We must drive the national dialogue and deliver the message. Make your opinion and voice be heard at www.StreetRebuttal.com.
