I was standing in line at the new buffet; everyone in town had given it such a great review. All of a sudden, this person from nowhere stepped in front of me, no words; no excuse me, no explanation.
I then proceeded to speak through severe hunger pains and aching feet, how rude and impolite it is to cut in front of me and others patiently waiting to grab a tray with utensils and request their item of choice from the menu. The individual that had rudely cut in front of me begin to explain by saying "after standing in line for a very long time I needed to make a quick emergency run to the restroom and was now returning to resume my place in line".
My reply was a frustrated, "Just fine". My hunger pains were now two minutes apart. My feet ached and were starting to swell; I had to take turns putting all my weight on the left foot and then shifting and altering all my weight to my right foot just for some relief. I had now developed a tremendous hunger headache, which made a difficult situation an awful nightmare. Upon requesting my item of choice from the menu, I opened my purse to pay the price due which was $3.16, oh no - no wallet!
The person I had been so rude to, paid for my meal in full, refusing to take no for an answer. I felt so embarrassed and stupid; my complexion had turned an interesting brownish red color of embarrassment. My eyes focusing on the individual, I could no longer see the person that had just paid my meal in full, all I could see was Jesus.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for your only Son that you gave us all, who paid a tremendous price that we may have eternal life.
