Spring Hill is Brisbane's oldest suburb; Spring Hill is one of the innermost suburbs in Brisbane located 2 km north of the CBD. The last recorded population in 2006 was 5,466 with an average age of 30. The majority of residences are units with a 80% share, stand alone houses coming in second for a 16.4% share.

Spring Hill was named after the hill and creek on which it was founded, the creek was the first supply of clean fresh water to Brisbane. Spring Hill being one of the oldest residential neighbourhoods in Brisbane there are many new homes and old homes abundant history and character.

The most notable historical landmark is The Old Windmill constructed by convicts to mill grain. The Spring Hill Baths opened in 1886 still operates today as a swimming pool. Also there is the St. Andrew's War Memorial Hospital on Wickham Terrace.

Spring Hill is close to some fantastic shopping centres, the Brunswick Street Mall, the Queen Street Mall and the Chinatown Mall.
