Hasan A. Yahya, a writer from Palestine
Decaying dogmas have passed away, as Bertrand Russell, the British American philosopher puts it: "I do not believe that a decay of dogmatic belief can do anything but good". I admit at once that new shapes of dogma, such as those of the Muslim in recent years is similar to ideologies of Nazis and Communists, Islamism, (Zionism may be included) are even worse than the old shapes of dogma, but they could never have acquired a hold over men's minds if orthodox dogmatic habits had not been instilled in youth. Bin Laden's language is full of reminiscences of the theological seminary in which he received his training. We need no dogmas, but an attitude of scientific inquiry, a more acquiring knowledge combined with a belief that the reaction of dogmatic persons is not desirable, and should be rejected whether inflicted by bin Laden or by any other theologian imagined in the likeness of the believers.
Here comes the government roles to prepare the educators' to set goals, to manage projects, and to implement policies to reduce dogmatic attitude. The term freedom, and liberty may be the most acquired term in modern times form the Arab and Muslim world. Freedom and liberty was the cornerstone for the renaissance in Europe, in Japan, India, and China with different flavors. Freedom and Liberty in the United States were also the corner stone for the declaration of Independence.
The hatred incited in the content of books taught in many nations schools, and the material which promote selfishness and nationalist identity and emphasizing the evil spirit by ignoring minority groups rights, and undermining disabled groups in any nation should be removed, and new curriculum content full of tolerance and respect to all people must be the final goal for building a one world on principles of knowledge, understanding, appreciation and compromising to live in peace by, as Crescentologism, the Moon Theory prophesizes.
The Arab and Muslim world are in serious need to implement policies depend on freedom and liberty in order to create civilized generations on scientific grounds rather than theological or national dogmatic ones. The world wagon for progress, cannot retreat back in history, and the spirit of age is well established to provide services under justice rules. We need no Communism nor Capitalism to feed the poor, We need wealth to be distributed justly, to increase people security and build people's physical and mental skills to cooperate for survival and prosper. The accumulation of arms does not help in this regard. Wars have already took its toll between nations, Nations have spread the spirit of friendship and common cause among people, regardless of religion, nationality, race, and ethnicity. The one world spirit should be built on commonality of interests among people. Such interest, surely include safety and security of mental and physical survival of people. These interests should be celebrated, promoted and implemented in all nations and cultures. This is the essence of Crescentology.(511 words) www.askdryahya.com
