With its theaters, museums, galleries, famous buildings and other landmarks, including Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, London is a center of world culture. If you love to shop you will not want to pass up London. It is sometimes considered to be the best place to shop in Europe to buy designer clothing as well as all sorts of other interesting finds.
Barcelona is not to be missed. It can be found on the Mediterranean coast and is the capital of the Catalan region of Spain. Its culture and history are reflected in its interesting historic and architectural sites, from Roman ruins to the beautiful church of Sagrada Familia. Do not miss the museums and galleries. Of course there are the beautiful beaches for sunbathing and swimming. Sports fans will surely want to take in a football game at Camp Nou, unquestionably the home of the best football team on earth.
You must see Venice! This city is actually a group of islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea that are linked together by a system of canals. At one time, Venice was one of the most powerful of European cities. It was a merchant shipping center as well as a bastion of naval power. Venice is the home of incredible architecture. It was also the birthplace of much important Renaissance art and you can still see these important pieces in Venice. Venice can be navigated by foot but, better yet, find some time to travel the "streets" of Venice by Gondala. You will not regret it.
Everyone must see Paris at least once in their life. It is known as one of the most romantic cities in the world. It is also a large city that pulses with life. Many world famous architectural sites are found in Paris, including The Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and The Eiffel Tower. The River Seine runs through Paris, giving it much of its character. Look carefully and you will find small squares and secret gardens at the heart of Paris. The Louvre is the most well known museum of art in Paris but there are many others to visit as well. And who does not know that Paris is a center for food and shopping?
