Be an Inspired Parent and Raise Happy Thriving Kids and Teens

The media fed and enlightened children of today have left parents with a seemingly impossible task. The parenting techniques used by our parents are still the basis of most parenting guides and are outdated and out of touch, they build walls instead of bridges between us and our children, leaving us all exhausted, frustrated and confused. Time for an inspired change.

Childrens' awareness of themselves and their wider environment has increased and will continue to do so, rightly or wrongly they can no longer be raised on the 'do as I say' model. Where parents have traditionally had the unchallenged final say, children now have access to several, if not many, other views with which to challenge that authority. Fortunately for us there are trailblazers in this troubled field who have sought to find answers, with inspirational success. This is more than a new approach, it is a completely different way of thinking, that if adopted will absolutely restore harmony, joy and respect to all members of the family. A new way of thinking for a new way of living.

We need to be gently guided into any new way of life, we need to learn new skills and recognise new goals, here are some examples:

How to connect with our children in order to communicate successfully

How to empower them and trust them to make wise decisions

How to push the right buttons and stop pushing the wrong ones

What you need to do that's stopping them from achieving their dreams (and probably yours too)

Why rebellion rears its ugly head and what to do

How to discover the genius within your child (there's one in all of them)

Here's a brief example of how to avoid a 'bad button pushing' moment

If your children have to get up early and it usually becomes a bad scene,

make it fun! Put their favourite music on, make them a special breakfast sometimes, or better still (if they're old enough) let them make their own. After all, who wants to get up if there's nothing to get excited about?

This is more than a parenting guide, it is a personal and social lifeline for an ailing society. It's amazing to think that parenting anxiety and troublesome children could be a thing of the past with such revolutionary thinking. Loving harmony between parent and child will resonate throughout society, creating a better world with a better future. As a parent, you have great power but you are the keeper of even greater potential.
