Discount Deals Online for Flight Simulator

Ever wondered if these plane jockeys are a little overpaid and over-pampered, well, if so, have a go yourself and look out for some great discount deals online for a flight simulator.

One of the best ways to enjoy a flight' is by arranging a jet flight simulator via discount deals online.

One of the most popular simulators is based at Bankstown Airport and they offer some superb online discount deals.

The jet flight simulator is a never to be forgotten experience which is modelled on the popular A320 passenger aircraft. Alongside Boeing, Airbus is one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers and the A320 one of its most popular planes.

Flying a commercial airliner is a tricky business and the simulator will give the user a real sense of what it's like to be a modern-day airline pilot.

Most simulator experiences follow a set pattern and are usually so realistic, that the trainee pilot' will break into a sweat.

Things kick-off with an experienced pilot providing a pre-flight briefing and demonstrating how the aircraft is flown.

The lucky person is then asked from which of the world's main 1000 airports where they want to land, or take-off. And during the simulated flight, up to three visitors can watch the proceedings. At the end of the experience, a certificate is provided which proves to all, that the trainee pilot has had the experience of flying an airbus A320.

What surprises many who enjoy the experience mostly men, it has to be said is that simulator is so life like and a take-off will actually get the heart beat raised and the palms sweaty.

Take-off can be a very tense moment. There's that short strip of runway, that knowledge that when you reach V1 and rotate (pull the stick back) the aircraft is committed to reaching for the sky and an aborted take-off at this stage will almost certainly mean an overshoot on the runway.

So you have to get the aircraft's huge nose on the single white line in the middle of the runway. Even that take's a bucket load of concentration. You apply the brakes, push the throttles open to around 80% of thrust, hang on brake for a few seconds to ensure thrust is established and then release the brakes. The engines change from an unruly scream to an efficient whine. The rate of knots begin to build and the aircraft starts to rapidly pick-up speed. When a set speed in reached, the plane is rotated up into the sky. The undercarriage is stowed and the once a certain altitude has been reached, the engines are throttled back to a cruise setting. It's that easy!

So it if you want to give it a go, remember to look out for the best online deals.
