Eken is one of the China's brands android tablet PC owned by the Eken (HK) Electronics Co. Limited. Eken (Hk) Electronics Co. At the present, Eken focus on portable media players, MP5 players, MID Smart book and also digital video cameras.The company Quality Control is based on IS0 9001:2000 quality management system with IC quality control processing in Japan,Korea,Taiwan and America area.
M006 series are the latest product of MID tablet PC which has made by Eken.It's 10.1 inch with high brightness TFT screen ,16 : 9 Widescreen, and 1024 x 600 .Also support full size touch operation, sliding menu, and functional icon dragging in Eken M006 looks to be quite a bargain.
Eken M006 has only 2GB of storage, but you can expand that to 32GB with SD. The VIA 8505 processor certainly won't be confused but despite that the device pledges only two hours of Rechargeable polymer 2000 mAh battery life on a charge.EKEN M006 can support USB Transfer Box for file transfer activity,of course with 2 slot USB 2.0 Interface.
Communication Software such as Fring, SkypeOut (can call local call, long-distance call, overseas call and mobile call), MSN, SKYPE, and GTALK can use and instaled in M006 series,also stereo speaker and microphone was built in to support that activities.
To top it off it's stuck with Android 1.9 installed which cannot be upgraded to higher version ,but all of that leaving us to conclude ,that this is hardly a bargain after all.
