VIZIO E320VA 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV -VIZIO E320VA 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV Review

I am so happy with this television. I have had absolutely no problems with the volume at all. It has a great picture and for the price I'm amazed at how great it is!! I would highly recommend this set and you'll be amazed at the quality for the price. Plus, 4 HDMI ports is absolutely great....most have only 2!I am very pleased so far with my purchase. I look for quality and value in what I buy, and this TV delivered big time. The picture resolution is great as well as the sound, with no external speakers. The fit and finish of the set and stand are top notch. Setup was a breeze, plug and play. I'll be totally honest, for the price I thought this might be a dud, I was wrong and relieved. The TV is substantial in picture size and for a mid to large room its plenty. $300 Score!

Vizio is a stunner. People expect low budget quality, but it's way above expectations. Competes with LG and Sony, I think.I think that the Vizio folks should have made the default to OFF on the SRS TruVolume. If they had I think several of the owners would not be experiencing the issues with the sound. I set mine up, read the reviews, turned OFF the SRS TruVolume feature and now the sound is fine.

I'm not sure how high the volume will go. I've got mine on "2" and it is plenty loud and very clear.

I purchased this to use with my new Xbox 360 with Kinect. I'm replacing a 19" Sanyo that was purchased in 1989 by my older brother. So, maybe my expectations are not very high...for $299 I'm pleased and it is a tremendous step up from what I had.

If you're looking for a TV for your primary viewing in your family room, living room, or den, or even a good quality TV for the bedroom, then keep looking. But, if you're just looking for something that sits in the corner and mostly provides background noise while you focus on something else like your computer in your home office, or at your workbench in your garage or home shop, then this is a low cost option. Because the $299 price tag at Costco which includes a $73 instant rebate is hard to beat in a name brand 32" LCD HD TV. But, the volume control on this thing is junk. The volume drifts up and down on its own, not just from program to commercial and back, or channel to channel, but even within the same program.
