Vizio E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV -Vizio E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV Review

For the money, I believe this to be the best buy right now. The picture quality is very good, perhaps only surpassed by Samsung, but Samsung costs much more. The sound quality is better than average, and better than Samsung because of the front facing speakers. The TV itself is very attractive and is very easy to set up and navigate the menus. If I had to do it over again I would buy this model. Also, unlike most TVs, it's made in America, so...I bought this TV for my home office. Since I'm using basic cable in this room, I wanted a TV that could display non-HD channels better than my high-end plasma. This TV fits the bill perfectly. The digital, non-HD channels look very good. The "wide" mode allows the 4:3 480i channels to fill the screen without looking too stretched. Plus, the "vivid" picture mode really looks nice and bright.

I also have an indoor antenna hooked up to this TV to receive local HD channels. I think the HD channels look better on this $300 720p TV than my expensive 1080p plasma.

Finally, the speakers on this TV are quite good. I wanted a TV that had front projection speakers, since it wouldn't be hooked up to a surround-sound system. The speakers sound great, with nice EQ options. Was looking for something else, and happened to see my TV and the other reviews. Just to balance things out. My Vizio 32" is 10 months old now and working great. Been played average of 8 hours a day everyday and picture and sound still sharp and clear. Took longer to assemble the wall bracket than to plug in and program all the features.

We picked this up at a local supercenter and have been pleased with it right out of the box. Really easy set up and looks great with the blue-ray player.

Some of the better features include -a smart sound adjustment that keeps commercials from getting ridiculously loud, four different picture sizes to adjust for wide screen and standard TV,eco mode that isn't as bright and brilliant, but saves on power consumption, easy USB connect to view pics on the TV in a slide show format, the screen itself is a sort of matte texture, so the chance of glare is reduced greatly, just about everything is customizable for Picture, Audio, Channel locking, etc. (especially if you get into advanced menus).
