We have a 42" VIZIO 1080p (not a razor) in our family room and have been happy with it, so we dicided to get the 26" razor for our bedroom and couldn't be more pleased the picture is so clear alot more so than our 42" as well as the sound and the price was right... I would order this one again.Purchased this as a bedroom TV- the picture is good but I found the audio unbearably tinny and hollow, no matter how the settings were adjusted.
Aesthetically, it is a very nice- a sleek and low profile design which looks great. The only thing I did was put a piece of black electrical tape over the "VIZIO" logo located underneath the screen- I found it distracting because it is large and brightly illuminated whenever the TV is on. I also like that the backlighting adjusts itself according to the light in the room, so it is not too bright if you are watching TV with the lights off.
The Vizio name is fast becoming one of my favorites.... You can't beat the price-- for the quality of picture and easy function... I would place this against many more popular brand names any day! I purchased this from Amazon-- which I think is a first class seller.. And I had no trouble w/ the tv at all.... Overall, a wonderful purchase for your money!I bought this TV the day after Thanksgiving and just received it yesterday(12/9), it was 40% so I thought it was a good deal. It was out of stock for a couple weeks so I had to wait a little longer than normal but not a problem. I think it it's a very nice TV especially for the price I got it for. I don't get cable or satellite in my bedroom so I have it hooked up via old fashioned bunny ears and the picture is still really great, especially on HD channels. All the TV needs is some video and audio tweaking out of the box and you're good to go. As mentioned by some other reviewers, the speakers on the TV itself are horrible!! Sounds like the audio is coming through a tin can. But I have it hooked up to my shelf stereo system so it's not bad at all anymore. I have been very pleased with it so far.
The M260mv replaces a living room 20" Phillips (a dinosaur) tv and it is a pleasure to watch. I did due diligence in making the purchase, 1080p and LED LCD technology led the way and when Costco put in on sale for $249 (with a two year warranty) right after Thanksgiving, I couldn't resist. The contrast ratio isn't great, but I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in a comparison test with a tv having a higher comparison ratio. It's certainly a much better deal than anything WalMart has for sale in the same price range. Like some other reviewers I'm not impressed by the sound quality (very minor point) or occasional slowness, but overall I'd buy this tv again without hesitation.
