The Only Thing That Really Works In A Home Based Business

Have you heard of "I Learning Global?" It WAS a network marketing company until recently. Their product is information. People could join and pay money monthly for access to the site. Members could download books, video and audio tutorials, reports, etc... It was growing very fast and enjoying a fabulous ride in network marketing.

Then curiously, they decided to change the status of their company. They called the top producers and told them there would be no more checks and they would not be a network marketing company any longer. The only reason I know this now is because of the #1 producer for that company.

His name is David Wood and he became the top recruiter for I Learning Global, completely blowing everyone else in that company away in the amount of recruits he was able to sign up, in a few short months.

I am not trying to mislead anyone to believe this is a get rich quick story because it's not. He worked in network marketing for several different companies for years to learn how to make money in this industry and he struggled for many of those years. He even quit the industry at one time but he decided to try again.

He started with another company and was searching around and found a lead generation and marketing training system that is actually a funded proposal, affiliate marketing, list building, training system all rolled up into one.

One of the primary focuses of this system is to teach marketers how to promote themselves as leaders and build a list of prospects that you provide solutions for. This system teaches you how to promote YOU and to build the brand YOU Inc. David Wood did this and when I Learning Global took away his paycheck this YOU branding saved his business.

He was able to promote himself as a leader and became the top recruiter in his network marketing company AND since the system he was using also paid plenty of affiliate commissions and was profitable for him to recruit people into the system, he was able to blow everyone away in a contest the system held and win a new BMW.

Using the system for generating leads was how he became the number one recruiter in his I Learning Global business. Promoting himself as a leader and building his own list gave him the ability to move from one company to another when his company decided to stop being a network marketing company.

This can happen to anyone. You can be humming along and all of the sudden your company decides to change the rules. You can inadvertently break a rule and get tossed. There are many things that can go wrong in this industry.

That alone is the best reason ever to learn attraction marketing. The basic principle of this is about how much easier it would be to build a business if you could figure out how to get people to come to you. If you could get 10 or 20 people per day to find you and leave their contact info for you then you would never have to prospect your friends and family or any other uninterested prospects again.

If you learned how to build a list of interested prospects and provided solutions for their business building efforts with effective tools and services you would be able to make money off some that don't even join you in your primary business. Also, since you control your own list it won't matter what your company does because that will only be a part of your business.

When David Wood got that phone call from I Learning Global and the president told him there would be no more checks it was like it was meant to be. It really proved to everyone who found out about it how strong this attraction marketing concept is.

Instead of sulking and crying about it he just picked another company and sent out emails to his list and within a few hours he was back into profits with another business.

It just drives home the point about when you are a distributor for a company you do not own anything. When you promote YOU and build a list and manage it yourself, you do OWN the list and when you leave a company it goes with you. That is a business that you truly OWN.
