Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor might have parted their ways long back in real life but if you want to see their reel love you can go for Milenge Milenge. The movie stars Kareena as Priya whose only dream is to settle down with a loving husband and kids. One day her friend's aunt who is a tarot card reader predicts that after seven days she will be meeting her life partner in a foreign country at seven in morning wearing seven colors of clothes on a sea beach.
Priya doesn't believe this but Destiny has its own plans and she has to leave for Hong Kong regarding a youth meet. While on the othetrhand Shaihd also goes to Hong Kong to help his friend. Incidentally Immi gets Priya's diary and knows everything about what she thinks of destiny and her life partner. As Priya wants a man who doesn't smoke, nor drink nor speak lie to anyone, Immi pretends as if he is a teetotaler and a man who only speaks the truth. Priya falls in Immi's love and proposes to him. This brings a change in our hero and for Priya's sake he quits everything. But before he could tell everything to Priya she comes to know about the truth how Immi has made a fool of her. She comes back to India leaving Immi and decides to leave for Mumbai. And three years pass by.
Mumbai has something else in hold for her. She gets to meet Jatin there and one day he proposes to her to which she says yes. But somewhere in her mind she still loves Immi and wants to give another chance to destiny. She decides to go Delhi and find Immi here Immi comes to Mumbai to locate whereabouts of Priya. They were going to be married after four days Priya to Jatin and Immi to Sofia. They both keep on searching for each other in their respective cities. After many events and incidents they get to meet each other at the end. And as always our hero and heroine meet in films, this one is no exception.
While watching the film you might be reminded of Shahid Kapoor's look in Ishq Vishq - his first flick. Kareena is looking good. As for Satish Kaushik's direction, I can say director has done his job well. But what can a director do when there is weak plot or storyline. Very predictable climax, ordinarily treated film as the subject is not too exciting. You also get to see him in one of the scenes. Music of the film is not too popular. Himesh has tried to come out of his typical style of composing. But he couldn't do so successfully.
After seeing the movie you might say "Milenge Milenge se hum dobara nahi milenge"
Go for Film: just for time pass or if you are fan of either Shahid or Kareena.
Do not go for the film: there are many reasons better not to mention.
