subject: Quick Money Ideas To Improve Your Income [print this page]

Even if you have a full-time job, there are still so many great ways to augment your income, thanks in large part to the phenomenon that is the internet. Here are a couple of quick money ideas to improve your income - all of which can be implemented immediately, if you're motivated enough!

1. Advertise your services on elance.com. If you've got any skill whatsoever, someone out there needs it. If you can write, there are people looking for article writers. If you can do some simple accounting, there are people who need virtual assistants to help them stay organized. This is an easy way to make an extra $10-15/hour, and generally you will find jobs here that can be done around whatever else you've got going on in your schedule.

2. Become an internet affiliate. An affiliate advertises/sells someone else's product for a commission. Most big companies have an affiliate program that anyone can sign up for. Find a product you know something about that addresses a problem people are having. Then, promote that product (article writing, blogging, and pay per click are good ways to do so), and whenever someone buys something through your links, you'll receive a commission.

Find a good product that pays a good commission, and you could find yourself making a lot of money, fast.

3. Become a "found money" professional. There are currently billions and billions of dollars in unclaimed funds being held by the government, due back to its citizens. The best source of these funds is real estate transactions - specifically, tax and mortgage foreclosure sales. The overages created when bidders bid more at these auctions than is owed on the properties are generally due back to the owners. Unfortunately, the owners don't usually know about the overages, and eventually lose them to the government.

Find the records of the funds, and then locate their owners, and you can legally charge 30-50% to assist in the recovery process (and for alerting the owners to the money's existence in the first place). Since these funds run into the tens of thousands of dollars regularly, you can rack up some pretty big commission checks in no time.
