The movie is a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 horror film of the same name where On
Elm Street, a group of teenagers including Nancy Thompson, played by Rooney
Mara, Marge Thompson, played by Connie Britton, Quentin, played by Kyle Gallner,
Jesse, played by Thomas Dekker, Dean, played by Kellan Lutz and Kris, played by
Katie Cassidy, are being stalked by a serial killer icon by the name of Freddy
Krueger, played by Jackie Earle Haley. This stalking is not physically and live
but, as strange as it may seem, in their DREAMS.
How it begins is when one on these teenagers begins to have nightmares about a
psychopath who wears a glove with razor-sharp "finger knives". Totally disturbed
by this dream as it seemed so real, she soon finds out that some of her friends
have had similar dreams too.
Now this is something to think about. One having a nightmare is normal, but many
having the same nightmare is something that cannot be accepted. And to make
matters worse, her friends begin to die one by one.
Needing immediate answers for this, the only one at hand is to stay awake as
long as you possibly can so that you cannot dream. But the question is for how
long can you do that?
You may know that psychopaths usually have no reason behind brutally murdering
people. But this one seems different.

into the real world since that is the only way he can be caught.
