Cheap Term Life Insurance - Why it is Not Always Cheap

People who are in excellent health will have no trouble getting cheap term insurance. Those who are less healthy will have higher premiums, on a progressive scale, up to the point where people are no longer insurable because they pose too much risk to the insurance company. If you have any medical issues or an unhealthy lifestyle, you might as well kiss the idea of cheap term life insurance goodbye, because the insurance company automatically charges higher costs to those with heart disease, chronic disease or a history of disease, high cholesterol or blood pressure, obesity, smoking and drinking habits, history of cancer, and diabetes and strokes. Even if you have no symptoms, you may be discriminated against because you are more likely to need life insurance than a healthy person.
