Small-scale engineering units in Vadodara will soon get a chance to market their products effectively and exhibit their product basket in the upcoming industrial exhibition show - Machtech 2010. This years event is expected to generate business worth Rs 100 crore.

By participating in the industrial exhibition, SME engineering units can build linkages with other big industry players, visitors and co-exhibitors in order to promote their product basket effectively, said Gurpreet Singh, proprietor of Dharamveer Engineering, a small-sized pump manufacturing unit in Vadodara.

The industrial exhibition is expected to get over 250 small-scale units to network with the best business players in the region. The trade fair would also present a chance to the engineering units to increase their revenue earnings by building contacts.

The upcoming exhibition is a good opportunity for small units as they can double their net business generation by exhibiting their product range and interacting with big units, said Irfan Ahmed, proprietor of Hanif Motor Works, a small-sized motor manufacturing unit in Vadodara.

KMG Technology is co-organising the event with the Federation of Small Scale Industries (FSSI). Several small-scale units engaged in the areas of machine tools, materials handling equipments, chemical and pharmaceutical equipments, plastic processing machines and automation,among others will participate in the upcoming exhibition.
