To vote out the Seven Wonders of the World is not an easy task as there is not only ONE list assembling the worlds fabulous wonders. Some more wonders are the wonders of the olden world, the contemporary world, the undersea world, the industrialized world etc

7. Chichen Itza (Yucatan, Mexico)

Found in Yucatan, Mexico Chichen Itza is huge archaeological location that symbolizes what is left of the chief crucial point of the Mayan society. The place is full of over 100 cemented roads and dozens of sandstone buildings, many of which were marvelously preserved.

6. Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

This statue of Christ is found in Rio de Janiero and is a significant icon of Christianity. The statue is positioned inside the Tijuca Forest National Park and is placed on the top Corcovado Mountain. The Redeemer statue is nearly 120 feet tall and is well thought-out to be the tallest statue in the world.

5. Colosseum (Rome, Italy)

Colosseum, the incredible amphitheatre is famous all over the world and there is no one who has not heard about it. The ruler identified as Vespasian started the structure around 70 AD and it was not finished until 80AD till the time Titus was a ruler.

4. Great Wall of China (China)

The real Great Wall of China was initially constructed to defend the borders of China from botheration and attacks all through the days between the 5th century BC and the 16th century. There was more than one Great Wall of China, every wall constructed in a diverse area and by different rulers.

The Great Wall of China was constructed in many centuries and is approximately 4,000 miles in length.

3. Machu Picchu (Cuzco, Peru)

The Lost City of the Incas, another name for Machu Picchu in Peru is situated on a mountain edge in the Urubamba Valley over 8,010 feet above sea level. The particular town was initially constructed in 1460 and was well thought-out to be one of the major signs of the Inca Empire. It was dumped during the Spanish take-over and tales say the ground was ancient history until 1911 when it was revived by an American historian known as Hiram Bingham.

Petra is established on the slopes of Mount Hor in the Arabah part of Jordan Petra. The spot is one of the most spectacular architectural magnetism in the world, with every building cut straight into the mountain wall. Both the inner and outer artwork is amazing.

The Taj Mahal in Agra India is one of the most amazing tombs constructed by Emperor Shahjahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is perhaps one of the most fine-looking and eye-catching piece of architecture in the world.
