subject: Lose Belly Fat - Making Small Lifestyle Changes To Reduce Belly Fat [print this page] Exercise and diet to lose belly fat. Exercise and diet to lose belly fat.
Lack of exercises and a lousy diet will cause our bodies to blow up over time. Recently there has been a big push to reduce trans fats, which is apparently what everything you love to eat is made out of.
Start with some simple lifestyle changes to combat belly fat. Some simple changes in you daily routine could help you get started on the way to a slimmer more attractive and healthier you. In the morning before work, choose a light breakfast of fresh fruit, you could add in some cottage cheese and toast. If you eat a lighter breakfast you will have more energy during the morning hours than if you "bulk up" which could cause you to start feeling sleepy shortly after you get to work. Depending on where you work you could chose the stairs rather than the elevator. Or you could go for a brisk walk around the block at your mid morning break, if not make a choice to do some light stretching and walk or jog around that block at lunch.
Work on satisfying the body, not the taste buds, to help reduce belly fat.
When lunch rolls around maybe choose a club salad or fresh sandwich, again with a side of fruit, avoid the chips today and treat yourself to two small bites of a candy bar instead. One of the problems with weight loss in America is that where ever you go even if you make your meal your self, the meal is bigger that it needs to be to satisfy the bodies needs. Note I said satisfy the body, that doesn't mean it will satisfy you. Most of us are conditioned to eat far more than we need to eat. Something a friend of mine had on the refrigerator at her house was "eating is something I do to stay healthy not something I do for pleasure"
Most of us eat for pleasure and boy have we been having a good time.
Lose belly fat by eating half as much.
If you go to the store and buy a Weight Watcher or Jenny Craig meal in a box out of the freezer section you'll quickly discover the secret to their success: You Will Lose Weight If You Eat Half As Much Food. The first time I bought some of those meals I ate three of them in one sitting and was still hungry. One of the problems with habitual overeating is that our stomachs get stretched out from the inside and get bigger. When we eat a smaller portion we feel hungry even though there was probably enough nutrition in the meal to feed our body. Over time if we reduce our intake of food the stomach will begin to shrink back to its natural size. Thus smaller portions will make us feel full.
Pig Out On Neutral Foods.
I love to eat and it is a constant battle to not over eat, but even if I eat two apples instead of one or a whole pound of grapes or a bucket of salad I will still lose weight and feel better. So if you must eat a lot of food choose foods that won't make you fat and pig out. If you must have candy bars and soda, like me, just take a small bite or two and a swallow or to of pop and that's it. If you have to throw the excess away that's better than letting it kill you some day. Over time you will find that you start craving the good foods the vegetables and fresh water over the pop and candy bars, it does take time. Start small and work toward a healthier you, just get started now
