Besides the gardens which surround the manor houses, there is also the Kew Gardens nearby. This one is known around the world for the lovely flowers that you can walk among.
Speaking world-renowned, you can visit the Hampton Court Palace a mere four miles away. Here, you are brought back in time, gazing at a historical monument that has seen many historical figures as well as 12 monarchs.
Since the place is part of Greater London, there are a wide variety of places for eating, drinking and lodging. In addition, central London is just a quick trip on the Underground. The entire city is at your disposal from this location.
