The SR90 is the largest light made by Olight thus far. It's both the largest and heaviest LED mass produced flashlight to date, it's definitely not for everyone. However if you're familiar with HID lights, this should be familiar territory. A toughened AR-coated glass lens sits in front of the huge head, protecting the optical components in within it. The smooth aluminum reflector used is very well polished though with some subtle but noticeable circular radiating lines running down the reflector cup, probably due to the machining process. The LED sitting at the bottom of the reflector is itself housed in it's own module and is well-centered with the reflector. On its exterior the head is almost totally covered in cooling fins with a brass ring sitting just behind the bezel where the shoulder strap attaches to. Towards the rear end of the head is the push button switch. It's a toggle switch which works much like a reverse clicky, so momentary operation is not possible. Mechanical travel is very minimal, and tactile feedback is also rather subtle. This is the age of budget cuts and making do with whatever can be available at lower costs. Its not any different for the call center sector. Companies are no longer able to afford expensive BPO service firms. They need call centers that are able to provide them what they need with cost cuts. Economics tell us that there is a direct correlation between demand and supply. So, if the demand is of cheaper call center services, the BPO firms have no other option but to cut down their prices and offer the same services at truncated rates. Strangely enough, studies have proved that with shrunk prices, these firms are actually doing better in business than what it used to be when they charged their usual rates. Why are the companies looking for these budget BPO units? The recession has left the business firms high and dry in terms of financial back-up.
